NUST Entry Test Registration 2024 Last Date Apply Online

The National University of Science & Technology (NUST) is currently accepting applications for undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate programs. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online for NUST Entry Test Registration. NUST is recognized by the Pakistan Engineering Council and offers a wide range of programs. NUST Entry Test Registration 2024

The NUST Entry Test is held annually on designated dates. The registration process for the test has already been concluded. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the schedules for NET-2 and NET-3 have been postponed and new dates have been announced. While the registration for NET-2 has already been completed, the registration for NET-3 will be conducted according to the dates provided below, followed by the test.

Eligibility to Apply for NUST Entry Test

  1. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in both their Matric and FSC or equivalent exams.
  2. Candidates who are currently in FSC Part-I can take the test, but their admission will be confirmed based on their final result in the 2nd year.
  3. The same rules apply for O/A level students, taking into consideration their equivalence certificate.
  4. Candidates with O/A Level qualifications can apply with an equivalence certificate obtained from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
  5. The merit for the Applied Biosciences program (ASAB) is determined by the final result of FSC/A Level or equivalent qualification, as per the IBCC Equivalence Certificate.
  6. As a result, the NET results for this program are announced at a later date.

NUST University Application Form

In order to be considered for admission at NUST University, it is necessary to fill out an online application form. This form will ask for personal information, academic details, and the submission of scanned copies of necessary documents. It is possible to apply for multiple programs using a single registration, but please note that there will be an application fee for each program you apply to. NUST Entry Test Result

The NUST Entry Test (NET) results for the year 2023 have been published. To view their results, candidates must input their roll number and code from the image on the NUST website. The NET is an annual examination conducted by NUST for admission to its undergraduate programs. It evaluates candidates’ proficiency in mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, and Urdu.

To access their results, candidates must provide their roll number and code from the image on the NUST website. Once they have entered these details, they will be able to view their scores for each section of the test, as well as their overall score.

Candidates who have successfully qualified for the next stage of the admission process will be able to download their call letters from the NUST website. These call letters will include information about the date, time, and venue for the subsequent stage of the admission process.

NUST Entry Test Syllabus

The NUST Entry Test assesses candidates’ knowledge in various subjects, with each subject carrying a specific weightage. These subjects are based on the FA/FSc level studies (Part-1 & Part-II) and are presented in the form of MCQs with four answer options.

  • English: 10%

The subject weightings vary depending on the program that the candidate is applying for. For instance, applicants who are interested in pursuing a degree in BS Mathematics, BS Physics, or BS Chemistry will have their merit position determined by their scores in Mathematics, Physics, English, and Intelligence. However, candidates with a Pre-Engineering background will be required to take a Chemistry test instead of Computer Science. The test format comprises of 200 multiple-choice questions with no penalty for incorrect answers, and candidates are given a total of three hours to complete it.

NUST Entry Test Venues

The NUST Entry Tests are administered thrice during a season, comprising of two distinct types:
a) Computerized-Based Entrance Test (CBT) held in Islamabad
b) Paper-Based Entrance Test (PBT) conducted in Karachi and Quetta.
2. It is important to note that for each series, a separate online registration form must be submitted for NET.
3. The tentative commencement of Undergraduate Programmes is scheduled for 2024.

Computer-Based Test Timings:

The test has two available timings which can be chosen during the admission process. The morning timing is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM, while the evening timing is set from 2:00 pm to 5:00 PM.
